Melissa is a psychotherapist located in Lake Elmo, Minnesota. She has been working to help people effect positive change in their lives since 1987. Melissa earned her degree in Counseling Psychology in 1994 from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota. She is certified in EMDR. She has a certificate in Evidence-Based Coaching from Fielding University in Santa Barbara, California.

She added EMDR to her list of skills in the 90’s and has had her private therapy practice since 2001. In the year 2009, she added life coaching to her set of valued skills. Her current location is just a few miles from her childhood home, built largely by her parents, who are still married and living there.
